After 10 long (or short, if you were Damien) weeks, our fearless leader is finally back in Australia.
He and his wife loaded up their three kids, and took them on the adventure of a lifetime.
After ten weeks overseas, long days walking through ancient history, late nights in foreign cities– it would come as no surprise that a couple of busy parents would be ready to call an end to the trip and get back to normal routine.
That wasn’t the case for Damien and his wife. When Damien arrived back in the office, all he could talk about was how much fun they had with the kids, how they had almost stayed for longer and now wish they had.
Getting stranded on an island, accomodation mishaps, losing (and miraculously recovering) phones– the Pearson family experienced many antidote-worthy adventures, and it only brought them closer together.
In our time working with Damien, it is easy to see how he pours his time, attention, and care into everything that he does. He’s built a business and community with ‘GSC Finance’ that is truly a special place to work at. And for ten weeks, he was able to gently put being ‘busy’ aside, to devote all of his energy to his family.
It was obviously magic, and it shows– through his awesome children who have created some amazing core memories.
Welcome back, Damien! We feel very lucky to have you home, and are so glad you had such an enriching time away.
